Hi,

generally I use to divide my orks in two groups, one for support purpose and
one for the main assault. The supporting group generally consist of
gargants, greaters for the precision with long range weaponeries, I never
take mega gargants, they sucks; braincrushas squadrons in pair under the
cover of dragsta with a mekaniak in the back, one or two towers (use them
for AA fire) and a lot of shock attack guns; all these guys are encircled by
greetchins to prevent close assault, they kill a hummy with 4+ and they are
free!
Their job should be to engage titansand heavies; remember that marines don't
have, apart titan and the weak whirlwinds, any long range weapon (over 75
cm.), while your support usually shoot at 100+ cm.
Use your shock attack guns against the devastator squads, even if they won't
kill they will block them, concentrate your fire on titans, one at time,
remember to load with ball your gut busters.
The assault groups consist in the following clans: snake bite, evil sunz and
goff, more if you could play with a lot of pts, remember that each 3000 pts
spent you can replicate each clan.
The main assault group consist in a huge horde of boar boyz detachmentswith
bike nobz, a lot of scorchers and bowelburnas (burn them at will), all the
boyz mounted on battleweagons, bike boyz etc. I don't like super heavy, but
in some case if I can efford them I will only use gibletgrindas; ignore
stompers they will block your run.
Remember that your main strenght consist in the nobz; they move at charge
rate, and shot like a land raider, the rest will storm your weak opponent,
while they fire,you must do the possible to engage in close combat the
hummies. Your strenght is the number, don't bother if in the first turns
they will moule your boyz, sooner you will revange them!
For air cover I usually take a lot of fighta bombas, I ignore ork AA because
it sucks, I use them for for anti gunship purpose; I wait that they
disembark then Istrafe them; I doesn't metter if your barrage cover also
your boyz, the are there to die!
Remember concentrate your fire, don' t spread it, concentrate your assault
and have a fun, in the worst case you have killed some hummies and all the
galaxy will be happy with you.
