Of course. You're right on the artillery. Whirlwinds and SP thudd guns suit
their mobile nature more then the IG's redition of the Russian "Red God of
War". But maybe as a special card to simulate them being rarely used and
few, but still in their arsenal for cracking particularly tough strongholds?
Maybe the Bombards are too big, but if the list is seriously considering
giving the SoB Leman Russ units then Griffons, which while Chimera variants
are probably somewhat mechanically compatible with the Leman Russ chassis, as
a seige artillery piece don't seem that much out of place.
