Hi!

According to the original rogue trader the age of strife was humaities
greatest disaster. Not only was civilaztion going down the tubes but its
ability to reproduce, understand and innovate on it. It clearly states most
worlds returned to a barbaric state. Note this does not mean "tech poor",
but a state of mind of survival as its only goal. You can not innovate if
you're worried about where is dinner coming from.
