IMO this CC/FF rule doesn't comply with reality, and
even though i realise that EPIC is a fantasy game,
the rules should still reflect reality as much as
possible w/o rendering the game unplayable.
When this situation first came up about a year ago,
i balked at the very concept, and i still do..

These rules are not "cheezie" but the rules. Cannon fodder is used to soak
up damage and cause valuable units to waste their time and firepower on
them. So if I charge your command units with my rhinos you better fire at
them unless you aren't pinned by them because you will lose your shots.
