Hi!

Of course, it fires twice whenever it fires, theres no restriction in the
new or original rules to the basilisk it fires twice whenever you like.

Thats why we put it in writing, with the old rules they stand you could
legally fire at skimmers in close combat because they are not pinned, we
changed this or course.

A skimmer is never pinned by any other unit regardless of size, as long as
it moves second of course, but again once you decide to stay in combat you r
ARE pinned until the next turn. No your example adds another dimension, the
tempest would never be pinned regardless because its from a higher pinning
class so you could shoot at it while you couldn't at the jetbike.

I never liked pinning, but people still wanted it so its there, theres no
way to make it any cleaner without a bible of exceptions.

> So they must Fallback first, BEFORE rout, right?

Yes, its in two parts, first you fallback after the first failed save then
you rout after the second failed save.

Again bad scale of minis, a knight is not supposed to be all that bigger
than a dreadnought, its a one man suit with higher legs for speed, the GW
models are WAY out of proportion. If a marine is 6 feet tall, a dreadnought
is around 9 feet and a knight no more than 12 feet, compare to titans
thatare at least 30-40 METERS high! Of course stand a knight besides a
warhound and you'll realize how bad out of proportion they are, either the
knights too big or the titans is way too small. A rhino is about between the
marine and the dread.
