This is kind of interesting. Sort of like what some of the Wildboyz
clan might go through when they hit their rebelious stage and try to
emulate the oomies. Having all your Stormboyz in one clan will also
limit your flexibility. They, and the Freebooters, are the only
controllable troops that can act outside the mob. If you want to do
it, here's how I'd tweak the "clan".
I wouldn't let them have vehicles or Gargants, as they are just an
offshoot "clan" that really only exists as long as the warlord lets
all the clan's different Stormboyz mill about together. They wouldn't
really have any funding to speak of that the true clans wouldn't
rather use. They do, after all, have jumppacks. I'd only allow them
to add additional stormboyz cards. They are highly mobile and
wouldn't want to be held back by artillery or anything else.
I'd also have them act as a true clan would and follow the rules
governing them. They shouldn't be following their own Kaptin and
traipsing all over the countryside looking for heads to bang. (this
is what I was talking about when I mentioned limiting flexibility)
Looking at it this way, I'd probably make it 15 Stormboyz stands to
only 4 Kaptinz stands just like the Wildboyz horde. This way it
appears that one of the stronger Kaptinz brought 2 complete and one
incomplete detatchments under his command.
In keeping with this I'd also lower the cost to 500 or 550 pts. I
don't know that I'd use them but their mobility and speed would make
them good to have them hit first before the main wave of the clans
rolls up over the ridge.

One titan may be used per stormboyz "clan"

for assulting troops dug in or fortified. The Iron worriors are a dig
in kind of army even in the fluff it says that they normally first
thing, set up trenches and razor wire at there drop zones. OO yea
weasel I'd add razor wire to the free cards for the Iron Warriors,
I'd even think about giving them drop pods, and the fluff says
somthing about a seig tank would consider the Gorgon with a bulldozer
blade in the front, to clear razor wire and mines. This type of tank
would match there fortification stlye of fighting. This is probllay
the only tank I'd say to give them, let the dreads fill up the other
rolls of support. As this tank could also be put in with the company
cards as transports. The only other type of transport I would think
of giving them would be termites. This would give you three types of
transports, you would have to give up the Grogons to take the drop
pods. the termites I'd set them up as support cards of 6 stands and 3
termites for 200pts.

defensive bonuses. It just runs against their nature. Iron Warriors
should have bonuses for assaulting fortifications, and a binus to CAF
when in CC in trenches or buildings, reflecting their prior
tendencies, and specialties. None of the Chaos legions are defensive
specialists, nor do any of them practice those aspects. Like the
Wehrmacht on the Eastern Front, they haven't been taught how to
retreat.
