Hi Warprat :)
I've read some of the fluff, but what i miss is a "complete"
fluff'o'pendium. There seems to be so many pieces here and
there in various magazines and such. Whatever happened to
the fluff project?
Heh, you're definetly older than me, and i sure like to have
fun. I guess im just not very good at "taking on a roll" if
you'd like to call it that. Whatever your playing fancies,
as long as you have fun, it doesnt really matter what the
outcome is or how you play. Perhaps ill become more childish
with age? ;)
My best wishes to you and your family, id sure like to have
a daughter/son as Co-general one day :) By then, we'll
probably all play Virtua-Epic(TM) (with Virtual Reality glasses) online
on huge databases with thousands of people in a gigantic tournament!
Now that would be cool!:) Real-Time video and sound feed from
your opponent in Japan, cursing you as you execute a perfectly
timed move. A Video quality 3D Epic setting in which you could walk
around, ordering your lifesize troops to attack the pesky humies.
Seeing rockets fired and missing. The Orks would be hilarious to
watch, while the frightening visage of Chaos or the Tyranids would
be enought to scare the hell out of anybody. There would, of course,
be a gore setting, so you could se bodyparts flying and blood splattering.
Complete in 5 channel Stereo surround of course :)
Guess im a dreamer!
Rune :)

Hi Rune!
If you get your hands on the 2nd Edition rules, put out Games Workshop,
or a White Dwarf or two, it would help to "understand" the Fluff a bit
better. The Battles book was also good. You can find it on e-Bay.
I actually only started playing, shortly after 2nd Edition came out.
I didn't own any mini's, or rules, untill a year ago. My first wife
didn't like me gaming so much, but my 2nd wife is VERY understanding.
I've got a 17 year old daughter who's pretty good at playing wargames,
and Magic Cards. Kind of a father/daughter thing. I'd take her as a
Co-General any day. She's very smart, and very sneaky! I like to think
she learned it from me. Can you tell I'm a proud father?
What are you talking about, GROWN MAN? Are you too old to have fun?
Hey, I'm 39. Gosh, I'll be 40 in 3 days. Time sure flys, when your
having fun.
When I turned 19, I gave my N-Scale train set to a younger boy, because
I thought I was too old for it. Boy, would I LOVE to have that train
set now! ;)
You know what they say, "Men will be boys!"
Best Wishes, Rune!
Warprat ;)
