The way it sounds you guys are playing the Mantis missiles wrong, if you are hit by the missiles then you fall back on the nullify field rules. So if missiles hit for say 3 turns you roll for each model under templete the ones that may move, can move at half their rate from under the templete keeping cohearent with the models stuck under templete, but, may move in a maner to get out from under the templete, thus the next trun only the models under the templete recivce the nullify penalty not the whole detachment/ squad. Now on the next trun you roll to see if the models still under the templete can move if they can then they may move half their rate, the models that you have already moved from under the templete ( from the trun before) may move their normal rate and ffire with no penalty. Please also note that the Nullify field only effects Vehicals move not infantry, while the Disruptors can effect both vehicals and infantry. This is the big differance between the two types. So, the wayit sounds you are making the missiles stronger than they really are. I hope this clears up some of the problems you are having with fighting the Necron. But Next time I'd think about charging the strong but few, like the Stalkers or Super Heavy with the Beserkers (witch would have a hard time fighting plain IG troops on their own) let a lone top assult troops like Necron. Like 2 detachments against the Stalkers and 1 againstthe Super Heavy would of gave you 12 vp for your 6vp company. The bikes would of been the ones to send against the Necron assult troops.
