Hi Peter!

To fire indirect, you need a Spotter, do you not? How can you spot into
something you can't see? How can you tell if your hitting the target,
or missing wildly? You have no idea! You can't waste ammo shooting at
every tree. You won't have any left when the bad guys really get there!

To remedy the situation, I propose two ideas, shamelessly stolen from
other members of Net Epic.

1) Make woods transparent (perhaps 3cm?), as Weasel suggested. You can
see in, but not though. Units would be able to fire at each other in
the woods. Artillery could spot them directly, or indirectly (using
Spotters). The cover modifier would still apply.

2) Allow unseen units to be targeted by scattering an extra time, as
suggested by Quester, "Recon by fire." Of course, again, any terrain
modifiers still apply.

3) Combat within buildings is perhaps more of a desperate nature, best
portrayed with the Close Combat rules.
