Yes some paint, primer will eat up poly-styrene (like most auto-paints)
but if your only painting med.minis there no dif. make sure you test any you buy on some sprew or you can get some Armory undercoat its made for models and much cheeper then GWs stuff comes in black,red-Ox, white, and mat-finish most good hobbie shops will have it or something like it
