Well, my thought when I started the recent Heathen Worlds Army List
was to make entry into NetEpic a little less painful and broaden
the player base (and I like to play around with things :-).
By that, I meant that people who'd already purchased Ogre Miniatures
(like me) could use them in NetEpic. And people who were interested
in NetEpic AND Ogre might be more inclined to give them a try if
their miniatures were usuable in both.
I wasn't really trying to fill any nitches or anything. Although, overall
I'd say it comes out kinda like a cross between Squats/Eldar.
I also thought it might be kinda neat to provide groundwork for
including other scifi companies backgrounds/minis/army themes into
the NetEpic framework. ie be inclusive vs. exclusive.

p.s. Finally found my old Ogre/GEV and Shockwave booklets! I'll probably
be modifying some of the stats to bring them in line with each other.
