Hi,

Firstly I think the Break Point increase of the Necron is a bad idea.
Secondly if we insists on changing it, I say lets be consistent and add it
to all Necron units. But I think this should be accompanied by both a cost
and VP increase!

If we decide to do the BP increase just for the infantry, without a cost
increase, then IMO we MUST add to the VP value of the cards!!!!

Subject: [NetEpic ML] Slann points cost and army lists

Hi!

Heres the proposed list and costs.

Necron army list

Necron raiders, 200 per detachment, 600 per company. Break point is 12
(75% casualties)
Necron assault, 250 per detachment, 750 per company. Break point is 12
(75% casaulties)
Necron protector, 100 per detachment
Necron cubekeeper, 150 per detachment
Necron cubemaster, 200 per detachment
Necron nemesis, 250 per detachment
Necron tormentor, 250 per detachment
Necron punisher, 250 per detachment
Necron mantis missile, 150 per detachment, no in groups of three models.
Necron warp locust, 200 per model
Necron conqueror, 350 per model
Necron cloud dragon, 350 per squadron
Necron moon dragon, 450 per squadron
Necron ethereal dragon, 200 per model
Necron annihilator, 600 per model
Necron arachnid, 200 per detachment of three
Necron stalker, 600 per detachment

In epic there are three ways to do the break points, the first and most
common is half (rounded up) the amount of total units. Next is the 75%
casualties, but with attendant increase in VP's (but not cost) as per
squat. The third, which applies to the Necron is the 75%-100 percent
casualties for breaking applied to units that are mechanical in nature
and suffer no morale checks (like robots). In this case there is NO
attendant increase in VP for cost. Since necrons are the closest to this
group I have applied that. Note this ONLY applies to their infantry no
other units.

Do to the changes in weapon stats all vehicle units are reduced an
average of 50 points.

The above units MAY NOT be used by exodus slann.

Exodus slann army list
Regulator company, no changes in draons stays at 600 per company
Exodus raiders, no change 650 per company
Exodus Spawnband, 650 per company
Exodus warriors, 150 per detachment
Exodus ghost warrriors, 200 per detachment
Exodus ghost warriors, 250 per detachment
Exodus skinks, 150 per detachment
Exodus regulars, 200 per detachment
Exodus kroxigor, 150 per detachment
Exodus coldones, 200 per detachment
Exodus taradon, 225 per detachment
Exodus dragoon, 250 per detachment
Exodus raptor, 150 per detachment
Exodus mantis 100 per detachment
Exodus frog, 250 per detachment
Exodus tiger moth, 200 per detachment
Exodus salamander, 150 per detachment
Exodus dragon fly, 175 per detachment
Exodus mage chief, 150 per card
Exodus war cheif, 150 per card
Exodus temple guard, 50 per card
Exodus stagadon, 300 per model

Overall most exodus had a reduction of 50 points per detachment. Most
dracon units remain the same.

The above units are ONLY exodus units. Can NOT be used by necrons.

True slann, these units CAN be used by BOTH necron and exodus
Gravguard, 250 per detachment, 750 per company. The reduction of range
and to hit number lowered this.
Spawnguards 200 per detachment, 600 per company
Tadpole mech, no change 300 per detachment, but company card should be
600 since all other armies get free commander
Frog mech, 400 per detachment, 800 for company, same as above.
Bullfrog, 500 per detachment, support only.
Vanguard, 400 points, special card only
Great magus 150 per card
Mage in tadpole, 300 per model
Mage in frog, 400 per model
Mage in bull frog, 500 per model
Time mage, 500 per model

These may all be used by BOTH sides

Titans

I know it has been said that the exodus should not have these, but these
are really true slann units NOT exodus units, shouldn't they be brought
to wherever they support? I think they should be shared units, at least
the smaller mechs.

I think I covered everything.

Peter
