You can make a quite effective vindicator, by shaving the 2 rectangular
panels off the front of the plastic Rhino, then smoothing the plastic to
give a flat front to the hull. Take a short length of round plastic sprue
(exact length and diameter to personal taste), cut one end at an angle so
that it attaches to the hull approximately horizontal and, VOILA a plastic
vindicator. Paint the vindicator to match your army and paint a small black
circle on the end of the barrel, so that it looks hollow, and you have quite
a decent looking vehicle.

It won't be as nice as the latest (epic 40K) metal versions, but several
years ago the only vindicator options from GW, were a square lump of
undetailed lead with a big gun on the front (possibly the worst designed
mini they ever came up with), or a detailed metal hull with a tiny gun
sticking out of the front, which just didn't look like a vindicator cannon.
I made up a couple of companies this way, as I felt that they looked better
than the two 'official' vindicators. Let me know if you would like me to
send you a pic direct.

Cheers,
Graham
