Here's another one from my gaming group. This time for EPIC40K. The award
goes to Emil Kartalov our Eldar player.

Hero -- War Engine
Awarded to ... the Little Warlock Titan that Could. When the battle vs the
Squat [CJ20 Rules] seemed lost the War Engine Assaulted the enemy Cyclops and
destroyed it. Enemy fire then damaged both pulsars and placed blast markers
to a total of 10 [! Love/hate those Mega-Cannon] on the War Engine. The crew
then proceeded to:

1) remove 5 blast markers
2) repair both [!] pulsars
3) dodge incoming mega-cannon and FP attacks to only accumulate 3 more blast
markers [8 total] due to poor Squat attack rolls
4) pass the Ld check to fire at the enemy detachment at their feet, causing
massive damage with the pulsars
5) pass the Ld to Assault the detachment and reduce them to 1/2 strength

The battle was still lost, as the Squat literally dragged their morale back up
to 2 with Take&Hold objectives, but the heroism of the crew is an example to
everyone.
