I must also confess to occasionally fielding Necro miniatures whose
armaments were not very accurately reflected by the model ... ('so the guy
with the red bandanna and the laspistol is the one with the needle pistol
and chainsword, okay?)

Well, the cool thing is, they actually <can> run over people. Remember that
there are two distinct bits to close combat: the die roll which determines
who wins the fight, and then all the little die rolls to see who dies. The
rhino's don't help you win any, if they're engaged base-base, (which is
fine in my books), but they can run over bloodthirsters and exarchs jest
fine. Its funny when greater daemons become speed-bumps... :)
