-----> Random thoughts on stand composition:
For SM/TL, my goffs had 1 nob, 1 banner boy, and 3 boyz.
The boyz were black, green skin (naturally) and red shoulderpads, and
the banners
were red with those bull's heads decals applied. Looked good with 8+
stands
of those in the middle of 15+ boyz stands. Also, though I didn't make
wildboyz,
I used them in my snakebite boyz stands for that extra touch. If you
come across
an old boxed set of some kind, those are kinda nice for that.
With the way the game has changed, I think I probably will attempt
the 5 nobz per stand style, just for that look. The shooty boyz are ripe
for
mix-n-match, as I don't feel a need for every boyz stand to have a hvy
boy
added in ( the old ones didn't, except for my bad moonz) Mixing your
"autocannon" boyz and your "Hvy Plasma gun" boyz in adds 2-3 shooty boyz
stands easy.
If I can get a couple of different detatchments outta the boxed stuff,
I'll
be happy , as I have a lot of the 2nd ed orks ( I now have something
like
12 stompas) and I can use them, though as soon as I can buy new bases
seperately I'll probably try converting some of them.
