This just doesn't bring across any kind of veteran quality to me
personally. I like the option in Andy's experience system. If you'd
like to give a veteran feel, my advice would be:
Veteran: 3 Points
Roll d6 (instead of d6+1) to remove blast markers. +1 on firefight
rolls.
Just give them the D6 blast marker removal, instead of D6-1. The +1 on FF
rolls
seems powerful, not to mention it gets confusing when units other than
vetrans are involved in a FF, and you probably wouldn't want all vetran
detachments. I would just give them the better blast marker removal and get
rid of the firefight bonus. The cost is ok as it is though, losing blast
markers is quite powerfull, as if they only have one they will definaly
remove it. Also, you would have to make the entire detachment vetran to get
the bonus.
