I'd double it. A CC weapon doubles your Assault factor vs. war engines,
your fighting a war engine, so double your AF. Beat your opponent with a
stick if he disagrees, cause then every time you go to engage a WE in CC
with another WE you'd just drag along one infantry stand with it. I can
see it now. "Okay so your warlord has a chainfist and my Gargant is armed
with a snapper, but since I've also got a stand of gretchen with me your
chainfist is neutralized, but I still get to double my AF......" NOT.

IMHO anyway
