yes, there are many UNOFFICIAL list availiable. remember, "if its not
in WD, its not for real" CJ doesn't cound, either

I understand why GW left squats out. The Knights? it was the last thing
added to the old SM.

yes,but E40k could have used these previous sources.

if someone never saw a GW game before, the E40k books set does
not give much background on the 40k universe. Any time I start someone
with GW games, i loan them the TL rulebooks or the copy 1st ed pages
i got from sauron1. It gives the new player a good start on where
the army they play, fits into the 40k universe.
