Interesting... what's your basis for the breakdown between the second
and third age? Granted, GW has been concentrating on the Tyranids more
than Chaos of late, but the Chaos Codex introduced Abbadon and probably
some others, so I really doubt that the Age of the Apostate is over.

As for Hive War not fitting in with SM/TL... it suffered from GW's
usual, and it didn't help that only a few people got much time playing
against the bugs before E40K came out. There weren't any tactics
developed for use against them.
