[Epic] Blast Markers and Morale

I don't have my rule book with me, so help me figure this one out in regard=
s to blast markers. Now I've figured out that for each blast marker on a d=
etachment during the shooting phase, 1 fp or 1 shw is deducted from the uni=
t firing. Question 1: If I have a unit of 3 assault marines, 3 devastator=
s, and 3 land raiders (3fp range 15cm, 6fp range 45cm, and 6AT shots range =
45cm) which have 4 blast markers on the unit, and 8 ork boys are 45cm away=
from 2 of the devastators and all 3 land raiders, can the units out of ran=
ge soak the blast markers, or can only the units in range soak the blast ma=
rkers? Assuming I want to use all my AT shots and have the fp soak the bla=
st markers, how much fp and AT shots can I bring to bear on the orks?

Ques=
tion 2: If at the beginning of the turn I have 4 blast markers on my unit=
, I have to pass a leadership test before I can move in the movement phase =
correct? if the above unit of space marines had an HQ unit 25cm away from =
the supreme commander, could I re-roll the leadership test 3 times, or onl=
y 2 times for the space marine's initial stubborn rating (do marine supreme=
commander's make space marines extra stubborn?)

Question 3: So blast mar=
kers affect movement and shooting, and it's bad to have more blast markers =
than your opponent when your detachment is involved in close combat and/or =
a firefight. If detachment A above is assaulting the 8 orks and the orks a=
lso have 4 blast markers, but the marines have detachment B with 2 attack b=
ikes within 15cm and the bikes have 2 blast markers, do you total all the b=
last markers together so now the marines have more blast markers, or do you=
only count the detachment that is actually engaged? If the marines lost a=
nd subsequently had to take 3 blast markers to each detachment involved in =
the combat; does the assault bike detachement take 3 markers (don't think =
so), 2 markers (because 2 units are in the detachment) or none (2 blast mar=
kers are already on the unit)? Do you resolve casualties before figuring o=
ut how many blast markers to place: if the marine detachment A got really =
ate up and all 8 ork boys killed a unit leaving only 1 unit in detachment A=
, how many blast markers do you put on A?

Question 4: After close combat =
and fire fights are resolved, Each detachment that has blast markers on it =
is suppose to roll to see how many blast markers to remove (d6-1), then tak=
e a leadership test to see if they can move and shoot next turn; if they fa=
il, they can't move and shoot, only react to any close combat and firefight=
s, but can't initiate any on there own (correct? If a close combat or fire=
fight occurs w/in 15cm of them, but they are not the target, can they supp=
ort the detachment that is part of their army who is being engaged?). Wher=
e and when and how do blast markers affect morale and victory points?
