Sauron1 writes; I do not understand. The Horus Heresy is a period that I
gamed in for years. We only had initially Warlords and the basic SM with
banners and different colored plastic bases to designate command, assault,
support and scout SM units. Devistators and Whirlwinds were metal, as were
early Land Speeders and Jet Bikes. All the above were used by both sides.
Their stats were in Codex Titanicus and the later SM1. I have already
quoted "fluff' that describes Whirlwinds, Land Speeders and Jet Bikes in
stories about the Heresy wars. A rare 40k text called Warhammer Chapter
Approved, "Book of the Astronomican" dated 1988 has Landspeeders and Jet
bikes painted up for both sides.
