I'd say the Warlocks can support the close combat. (*1)

Again, I'd say the psykers can defend themselves. (*2)

Yes, definitely. Open vehicles are okay.

I guess it comes down to this; psykers can use their powers in an enclosed
vehicle unless the power is treated as a weapon attack. So a Farseer can
use 'Executioner', sending out his/her astral form to support a close combat
, as in *1, above. Similarly, a psyker can dispel a psychic blast card from
within a vehicle, whether this means putting a psychic shield around the
vehicle, using Mind War, or whatever. Hence case *2. Vehicles specifically
designed to carry psykers, like the new Falcon variant (probably not yet
available in the USA - sorry!), are probably psychically-shielded anyway.

I'm not sure of the rules about Psychic Blast cards, but I guess they should
be treated as weapon attacks ie can't be used by passengers inside a
vehicle. Even if LOS isn't required, I doubt it would be possible to hurl a
massive bolt of psychic energy through the side of a Thunderhawk without
scrambling the avionics or shorting out the engines.

Just my thoughts.
