I'm not "an orcy strategy page", but what is wrong with the cult of speed?

If you move first, you use "big wheels" or "red paint job" or "fuel
injectors" (actually, scratch the "fuel injectors", you have to move in a
straight line, and won't be able to sneak around the wave shield) and pin
them before they move. If you move second, even easier...

Or... Fire some shock attack guns at units near the wave serpents (at
friendly troops if necessary) and hope to scatter onto the wave serpents.

What about gargants? They would be tall enough to shoot over the wave
shield and a lot of gargant barrage weapons would be suitable to down the WS's.
