I suspect that is the case, and figure the awkwardness of the assault
phase will also seem less annoying in that case.

No, I meant that the firefight was the final significant event in the
game. It killed one unit from each of his detachments (they were all
grouped together), including the final Land Raider. The others had
been killed by the Gaze of Gork finally rolling something besides a
1 and my firepower finally rolling 6s.

Thanks, though. We definitely forgot stuff. He had trouble
remembering that he didn't have to look up his AT shots on the
firepower table. I think he forgot I got to move again in the
assault phase, and could stomp right up to him and say Boo! and
they all ran away.
