Jes has been taking his sketches of the WH40K Undead (labelled as such) to
Games Day for a couple of years. Whenever someone sees them, the usual
reaction is: 'Look! Chaos Androids!', to which Jes always says: 'No, they're
not Chaos.' Likewise, all available evidence to date is that they'll be
entirely robotic, not bionic.
     
     
     
     Have a squizz at (UK)WD215 and look at (oh no! I've forgotten who won
     the Golden Demon 'Open' in 95 + 96 - Dave Andrews or...? anyway it's
     the Citadel sculptor guy who won it) figures cabinet. Now look at the
     picture with the Golden Demon Open winners. Look in front of the '95
     winner (the 40k scale Thunderbolt prepping for take off). I believe
     that there's a Necron there.
     
     yes, it's amall and blurred, but I continually catch details like
     that...
