[Epic] Support Weapons and Epic41K

I think Epic41K list is good, overall:
Perhaps there is too much specialization of characters with Medic,
Engineer, Chaplain, etc. since in Epic scale they should be overlooked.
Looking at the Squat List, (I haven't saw the CJ list yet) I wonder if
so much change would overpower the Squat (I hope GW has made some kind
of testing of their rules), but I should give a better try to these
rules.
Perhaps all the Squat should be give the Stubborn ability (+2pts) as a
default as they are sturdier than men (Ld9 in Wh40K on an average7 for
IG).
What do you think of Land Riders as support choice for Squat (no LD
detachment !) since Wh40K Squat army list allows them ?
I don't Like the Overlord stated as Skimmer in that it's a Floater which
stay very high from the ground: I liked the old rules and I feel
something better could be thought of (Overlord is quite different from
a Tempest, still they are in the same vehicle class).
Actually I never saw some of the E40K army on table, so I'm not sure of
how they'll cope with these new rules.

I can agree for sake of game's speed:
I think Tarantula and Rapiers can fulfill the same support AT role in
epic scale, and Mole Mortar & Thudd Gun should be given "Artillery" for
their Parabolic Firing and Speculative Fire (Range of the two weapons is
the same in Wh40K 2� edition, 72"max)

I believe there is some confusion in the Rapier role, since SM/TL states
it as an anti-infantry weapon instead of a tank buster.
Wh40K has two imperial support weapons based on Lascannon technology:
Rapier (Long range, Very though Punch Vs Armor), and Multilaser (Fire
diffused through barrels, 3d sustained fire, less punch, range
shortened).
Oddly, Multilaser is the weapon mounted on Sentinel, and it has exactly
the same Stats of Rapier in
SM/TL
GW admitted they has found no way to sculpt a satisfacting Multilaser
yet, so they used rapiers for this role since you already get Tarantula
as AT weapon.
As Multilaser is a rare weapon I think it could be overlooked so we
could relay on two simple support weapon class: AT and Artillery
