WH40K takes place in our universe. Earth still exists. In WFB, the planet
is
not earth, but the univers is similar (same races, same chaos stuff ect.).
Why do Slaanesh exist in WFB? I guess that when the first created the
chaos-gods they did'nt have the eldar fall includet. This was addet later.
I've heard some rumors saying that the world in WFB is a planet in
WH40K, still undetected by the enperium. This would explain the
warp-portals
in WFB, created by the Slaan, a race from WH40K (now long gone along with
the Squats). Story has it that the Slann (WFB) could travel between the
stars
in ships, and that it was they who gave the gift of teknology to the world
of warhammer.
The similarities are between the two worlds are too obvius to overlook, and
though GW
would oppose, I belive that the consept of only one universe was the idea
from start on,
only, they did'nt go puplic with this. Maby if you ask AC or JJ in 50 or so
years they
will tell you.
Long live conspiracy!
