Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm a newbie _at_ Epic40k. I've played twice so far
and I think this is just one cool game! The more I play, the more I like
it. Anyway on to the question.
I'm having some trouble configuring a effective marine assault detachment.
FYI: I play Space Wolves (both Epic & 40K)
What I'm thinking is, 2 squads of Blood Claws (assault) in Rhino's 2
squads of Grey Hunters (regular troopers) in Rhino's, The Wolf Lord in a LR
supported by 1-3 Vindicators for their close support ability. I'm just
having trouble getting it to come together and work for me. I'm never sure
when I need to unbutton my troops from their rhinos and put them on
"assault" orders. So far I have either waited to long or brought them out
to soon. Any suggestions or comments on either my detachment setup or
numbers?
So far my armour detachment of 3LR, 3 Predator, 3 WW, + Commander in a LR
has been a pretty good detachment.
