The Pulsar and Pulse Laser, on the other hand _are_ mentioned in the
rulebook.
Thus, each takes one BM to supress. Of course, I would be more than
willing to
let an Eldar opponent of mine use the individual AT shots for suppression
purposes, as the one to one ratio does _severely_ limit the use of Eldar
Titans.
I mean really, a Revenant fully suppressed with only 6 blast markers?
That's
ridiculous. They're Titans, after all. They should be able to take more
and
still keep going, inexorably, until killed. Kinda like Terminators (the
Arnold Schwarzenegger ones, not the GW ones).
In a perfect world I agree, however, Titans can be VERY frightening. What I
think this does is allow you to moderate the killing power of a titan and
stop the game becoming a titan fest. As to individual examples, they may be
unbalancing (see Alun's post of a week ago regarding the Mega Gargant and a
single blast marker).
The important point is this ... we are all aware of what blast markers can
do to titans (unless they are armed with weapon batteries, which are not
super heavy weapons) and should factor this knowledge in when designed and
playing with an army.
