------> Hey, I'm in Texas, where it's legal to shoot someone for
tresspassing. Semi-famous case a few years ago where a guy in Houston
shot a repo man taking the guy's car out of his driveway. Shot him dead,
as he thought his car was being stolen, and that's OK.
A large percentage of pickups down here have gun racks in the back
windshield.
Texas passed a concealed handgun law about 2-3 years ago, and it's gone
over pretty well - no nuts going berserk in public, etc. (You'd be
amazed how many places post signs prohibiting concealed handguns,
though. )
Given that, people still look kinda funny when you tote in a variety of
cases which are obviously rifles/pistols/etc and start setting up shop.
I mainly use them for Battletech or 40K figs anyway, but I am favoring
the thread cases as much as possible for all the mini's, (unless I need
a LOT of them) just to avoid the looks...
Chris Miller
"Thet a rahfal case there sun ?"
"Yep"
"You know we don't allow them conseeled weppens in heer"
"It's not concealed - you knew it was a rifle case as soon as you saw
it. What gave it away, the ducks? Besides, that's for concealed
HANDGUNS, not RIFLES."
(threatening stare)
OK, OK, look inside.
(Long, painful conversation abouth them little men, or toy soldiers, or
whatever...)
