Hi all,

        I noticed there have been a lot of posts on this computer game recently,
and I'll start off by saying that if you want hardware help, the list
probably isn't the best place for discussing it (certainly a 'can someone
help me' message is ok, but then take it to private e-mail).
        I bought the game 3 days ago, installed it and the upgrade patch, and then
ran it. I have all the requirements ;)
        The movies look brilliant. The real live actors and costuming is great,
and has given me some wonderful ideas for scenarios of my own.
        I also noticed on the cover (this is the Australian Version) that it has
been voluntarily rated 13+ for animated violence.
        I have been playing it non stop since I bought it and am a fair way
through the campaign, and the best movie so far has to the thunderhawk
coming in to land. The gameplay is ok. My biggest problem is the hit
probability of some things compared to others. Overall it seems to be
fairly balanced.

        I'm looking forward to playing a game against another human player when I
get a chance. Oh well, enough ranting from me on Christmas day..
