A supply column of Rhinos with a single Landraider as escort could be
found decamping after a nightime stopover. The Rhino,s cold be laughered
in a square with the landraider in the centre. It has excellent
firepower, but is imobilized due to being surrounded by rhinos.
a signals station could be high on a hill with defensive works but few
actuall defenders. Loss of the station could affect replacements or
command radius.
An unfortified/defended vehicle maintenance depo or supply station
could be tucked away in a small valley, but near the front. A random
'fog of war' role might result in who is their for repair or re-suplly.
Bridges or brigger units on the march and destroyed by enemy action
always caused commaners headaces.
Senior commanders and their staffs with only some "pretorian" guards
have been supprised and captured or killed since the dawn of warfare. I
beleave a number of commanders on both sides in the WWII desert
campaigns changed hands a few times this way.
I hope thease humble ideas are usefull.
