Several ways.
Devote a lot of firepower into them, and keep shooting until they are
crippled.
Suppress them with BMs so they cannot move, and since they are slower
than most marine units, this could put them out of the battle.
Assault them with hard infantry.
Avoid them (Not recommended, because you could end up herded into a
corner and assaulted, which could lead to instant death if you lose)
