the answer either, but for "official" answers, that was it.

----------> Pretty much all of the SHW's look to be stopped by a single
blastmarker except the Firepower weapons - they just lose one FP per BM
like anything else, so the various close combat weapons are handy,
especially in short ranged fights, for soaking up a few hits. The only
non-FP weapons which have been treated differently so far in the Q&A's
are the ones which say "3xDeath Ray" and such on the titan sheet, so
that other post about being listed in the SHW section of the rules isn't
far off. Pulsars are just screwed by being listed as a discrete weapon
instead of only "d6 AT shots" on the sheet. If your listed as a non-fp
SHW in the rules, it takes one BM to shut it down, but if it's listed as
a multiple of one of those heavy weapons, it takes multiple markers to
shut down...

Logical ? Not really, but it might avoid some arguments, and if you have
it settled ahead of time, you can work with it instead of getting into
an argument during the game. Just make sure your opponent knows the same
things...
