From the 1997 Games Workshop Group PLC annual report:

Sales by destination in Local currency:
UK 21 Million Pounds (up 11%)
US 16 Million Dollars (up 42%)
Canada 4 Million C.Dollars (up 109%)
France 55 Million Francs (up 41%)
Germany 13 Million DMarks (up 92%)
Spain 548 Million Pesetas (up 57%)
Australia 9 Million A.Dollars (up 40%)

in Summary: UK 36%, rest of the world 64%
  (last year) 43% and 57%)

North America is less than 25% of total sales
Continental Europe is about the same as the UK,
Australasia and "Others" are small.

UK growth is, however, much slower than elsewhere (saturation?),
and the ratio of operating profit to sales is much lower (this is
to be expected, as the vast majority of the GW shops are in the
UK)
