2500pts, Meeting Engagement (the first one).

The Pointy Eared Gits (me):
2 Scorpions
1 Cobra
1 Revenant
1 Swooping Hawk / Warp Spider det (7 stands)
2 8 Jetbike / 3 Vyper dets
1 Harlequin / Wave Serpent det
1 Guardian / Aspect Warrior det
1 Dark Reaper / Guardian det
4 Phoenix Bombers
4 NightWings

The Imperial Chaps (him):
2 ShadowSwords
2 BaneBlades
1 4 Heavy / 4 Siege / 3 Hydra det
1 Big Space Marine det
1 smallish Imperial Guard Infantry det
1 6 Leman Russ det
4 Thunderbolts
3 Marauders

Turn 1:
Everyone wanders about a bit. Some guardians die from Artillery disease,
and the Harlequins march up the side of the board. The jetbikes flanked
the board on opposite sides, while the imperial army came forward in
general.

Turn 2:
With a screaming of aero-engines, the Marauders and Phoenix Bombers
dropped toward the ground. Looking out of the hatch on his ShadowSword,
the commander ducked as the Phoenixs shot over him- for a second silence
rained, then the plasma bombs carried by the bombers tore through both
tanks, destroying them. In revenge, the Harlequins, happy in their
Armour 6 Wave Serpents, had 3 of the vehicles destroyed. They played no
further part in the battle.
The Jetbikes moved up to take their rescue objective, but the Marines
were right on top of it- they hid behind a hill instead. The Revenant
came under heavy fire, damaging it's left arm (the only damage it took
at all), and the BaneBlades were each hit once. With a cry of "Charge!",
the Aspect Warriors smashed 5 Leman Russ tanks but lost three of their
number, then another when they picked a fight with the BaneBlade. And
lost.

Turn 3:
The NightWings and Thunderbolts turned up, and went onto Intercept
orders. The Marines turned to assault the dark reapers, while the Cobra
rose up above the hills and blew a BaneBlade to pieces with it's Distort
cannon. The Scorpions took hits from the Guardsmen, responding by
destroying 5 stands, and the Aspect Warriors destroyed the last Leman
Russ (which had foolishly returned). The Marines, about to assault, were
shocked as the Jetbikes fell upon them, losing the firefight and
retreating.

Turn 4:
Safe in their superiority, they Jetbikes grabbed their rescue objective
and Marched as far away from the Artillery as possible. The Phoenixes
were all damaged by the Thunderbolts, and left in short order, while the
Marauders were intercepted by the Nightwings. The Support Weapons,
getting thier first chance to fire, blew the last super-heavy tank to
pieces, while the Cobra rose up once more and destroyed a Demolisher.

Result: Eldar 48, Imperial 20.
