I dunno, whenever I took any khorne engines my opponents
would say, "Hmmm! 3 VPs for killing 2 tanks!" and would either
shoot them or bike them before they ever got into range of anything.
So consequently, I would find better things to spend my 300 points
on (like demons). Scorpians always looked ok, but that 3+ armor
continually put me off. If it's tougher cousins can't survive to
get into range, what hope did it have?

The point is, they're no longer terrible. Now they're just
mediocre, and I can take them without feeling like I'm helping my
opponent to win.
