(except naval games). Ancients are usually at least 5:1 or 10:1, a lot of
more moderns do 1 mini = 1 platoon or squad. GW is unusual in this respect
as all of their games are 1:1, even epic. If you had to have 1 mini on the
table for every man in even a company level ww2 battle, it would get crowded
real fast.
     I'll check out battleground. Is Panzer the old Yaquinto game? I used to
have that...
