     I agree with your theory of wargaming. I usually have a better time
with "given" troops in one of those large battles my Wargame club is
addicted to where you need to dragoon in a dozen slackers just to move all
the troops you decided to field.

    When you are given the command of an escort squadron of fighters
covering a convoy trying to sneak past a space battle its is more
interesting as you have to quickly learn the good and bad qualities of your
units.

     I myself have created a copy of the randomiser rules and will try them
out next Friday!

     I just realised I have worked straight through since last Tuesday on a
6:30 Am to 6:30 PM stint, and will only have this Tuesday "off" before
starting a 7 day 6:30 PM to 6:30 am set.

    It will be March next week and I can hardly remember February!
