Use the two part epoxy ribbon, the blue/yellow type, but I have used the
brown and white stuff, it setup a little faster. Get it at plumbing
or hardware shops, or go for the really expensive stuff that GW has
started to sell.

mix it up and pack it into the hole, and use water on your
tool/stick/whatever to keep the epoxy from sticking, and shape it to your
satisfaction. 24 hours later, you can sand it lightly, if needed.
