Never heard of the pulling phrase, but I think I know what you mean ;)

As for the reports, well I'll do my best when I get back home, but please
appreciate that Bugman's was open all afternoon, and drinks were allowed
into the Tournament Hall (might have something to do with that thrice-damned
Eldar player pulling a close victory!)
