One of the reasons I married Carmel 17 years ago was that she had her
own copy of Panzerblitz.
Regarding Op Fire: Perhaps units in Overwatch that don't fire in the
Normal phase can fire in the Assault movement phase. Trouble is, then
this seriously b*ggers up Eldar (for example) who rely upon the zoom-in
blitzkrieg. It also wouldn't solve the problem of the Cyclops since WEs
can't Overwatch. Yet anything on Normal move shouldn't be allowed to Op
fire.
My remarks about S tanks were to show that even from a "realism" aspect,
there is an argument for no Op fire. Not a great argument, maybe not
even a good argument, but more than a complete nonsense. Heck, it's
usual for modern AFVs to dash from one piece of cover to the next, the
minimised exposure time radically decreases the Enemy's Pk.
