Just like a d100 is 2 d10 a D1000 is 3 d10's

Or are you saying you have never played a game that uses other than 6
sided dice before?

Just out of cussedness, what OTHER NON-GW games do you folk out there on
the list play?

I've been asked what a CRT was and now I get some one that doesn't
appear to know how one goes about making D(some power of 10).
