Elaine,
I agree with you. fluff is great background material and sometimes can give
great ideas. E40k could have used more fluff for new players to give them a
better idea of the various races. a lot of what i know about the 40k universe
comes from the various rulebooks that i've read, starting with the horus
heresy in Adeptus titanicus.
