I think you were thinking of me. Then again, maybe not...:) I have made my
final order (Warning to all: the dealer only carries 2-3 boxes of each at
his store. He had to special order my 8 boxes of Cyclops and 4 boxes of
Lightnings.) and it should take about 2 weeks. I'll review them, and also,
now that I think of it, I'll take an example of each (6 different vehicles
and one starship mini) with me to list member Andy Skinner's house when we
finally play (sometime around middle of June...), and ask him to contribute
his own review. No infantry to the best of my knowledge. I'm pretty sure
that they've completed the line (sadly 2 Aquarian vehicles didn't make it, I
guess. I like the Aquarian vehicles/ships, those cool bubbles everywhere.).
However...they did release a line of 90mm figures, representing one from
each race. Run a Deja News search for MAATAC, and you'll find a post about
them. The Gunderson's, dlgundberg_at_..., were kind enough to send
me a scanned photo of the Entomalian and Terran. Which KU's Neolithic email
couldn't handle, so I haven't seen it. You could ask them to send you the
photo.
But it was just one figure for each race, apparently all just variations on
the crewman w/pistol theme.

I'm looking into substitute infantry. I'm thinking of microarmour (But
really, coal-scuttle helmets in the 41st Millenium? Yes, I'm having a time
finding infantry that I like/has photos available on the Net). Are there
any infantry from SM/SM2 that changed radically/noticeably with the switch
to E40K?

PS. NetEpic gave the MAATACs a ringing endorsement.
