The inside of the box was divided into a 3x3 grid, the corner squares and
the centre square were marked 'hit' the others 'miss'.

When a ship fired, you used a number of dice and threw them into the box,
any landing on 'hit' hit the target, if they landed on 'miss'
they...erm...missed!!!
