They were showing a couple stands of Epic scale fantasy minis at Games Day,
but they could be (probably ARE) just some test casts to see what public
reaction is. Just because they show off a metal mini doesn't mean it's
actually in production.
I applied to GW back in 1990 for managing the Philly store. At the time I
talked with Bryan Ansell (then the Head Honcho) and he said that the rules
for Epic WFB had been done "...for some time now." Obviously, the game
hasn't been high on the priority scale!
