I would totally agree. Marines can decimate the bugs using thier rapid
fire. Rolling 20+ DICE from one detatchment is fun... Especially when you
get to re-roll misses... >:)
Take some Land Raiders as well. Just in case you have a dominatrix on
your hands. Some Whirlwinds for artillery. You really don't need the
guard for it. I fought a 1750 point battle last week vs. bugs, and by
then end of my firing on turn 2, the battle was for all intensive purposes
over. His dominatrix and heirodule (sp?) were still standing, but that's
about it. Out of 25+ termangants, only about 4 were left. No more
lictors, carnifi, or hive tyrants. Hormangants fled due to a neat fate
card... Massed firepower is the key.
