There are several fractal mapping programs out there, but I personally have
never used them. To generate maps in general, I've been using Campaign
Cartographer 2, and there is a demo version available for download. The
symbols and fonts are fantasy in the demo, but there are Sci-Fi ones
available. I'll dig up the URL and post it later....
